MAKATI CITY, METRO MANILA — MetroPac Movers, Inc. intensifies its preparations for the large distribution center it will build in Southern Luzon.
MetroPac Movers, Inc. has acquired the services of DCCD Engineering Corporation to oversee the construction of the industrial hub, review the plans, expenses, and ensure that construction will be done in accordance with the agreed timeline and budget.
The 202,000-square meter land in General Trias, Cavite was acquired by MetroPac Movers, Inc. at PhP 1.2 billion in 2018. MetroPac Movers, Inc. also purchased parcels of land with a total aggregate space of 277,857 square meters in San Rafael, Bulacan at PhP 204,786,038.
The mega distribution centers MetroPac Movers, Inc. is eyeing to construct in these areas are expected to serve the company’s existing and potential clients in the fast-moving consumer goods, consumer durables and other industries.
The land purchases and construction of the distribution centers complement the 520 brand new trucks MetroPac Movers, Inc. acquired in 2017 and the existing leased warehouse spaces totaling 207,000 square meters scattered in strategic locations across Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
MetroPac Movers, Inc. has also been investing heavily in Information Technology, equipment and training, as it moves towards its goal of becoming the top logistics firm in the Philippines.
